Indians’ Jose Ramirez shares very important update on his finger
Cleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez shared a very important update about his finger Tuesday.
Ramirez left the Indians’ spring training game against the Diamondbacks after cutting his finger in the first inning. Indians manager Terry Francona said later that Ramirez cut his finger reaching for a bat.
Per Tito, Jose Ramirez is fine. Cut his finger a bit reaching for a bat. Was healthy enough to go back in, but no need to push it. He should be good to go for Opening Day.

The Indians called Ramirez day-to-day. Ramirez himself addressed all concerns with a simple tweet:
I’m ok.

Well there you have it. He’s OK. The 25-year-old is coming off a breakout season for Cleveland in which he batted .318 with 56 doubles and 29 homers and finished third in AL MVP voting.
