Nothing has been able to slow the Cleveland Indians lately. They’ll hope that an injury to Bradley Zimmer won’t either.
Zimmer suffered a broken bone in his hand after diving into first base trying to beat out a grounder in the seventh inning Sunday night against Baltimore.
Indians manager Terry Francona said after the game that Zimmer suffered a broken bone in his left hand.
More info on Zimmer from Indians: Fractured 4th metacarpal of left hand. Will see Dr. Thomas Graham some time this week.

Zimmer was 0-for-3 in the game before being replaced by Greg Allen.
After a strong first half in his MLB debut, the 2014 first-round pick has struggled. He is batting just .148 since August. Zimmer batted .285 with five homers before the All-Star break.
