JA Happ placed on disabled list with disease
The New York Yankees were hopeful that J.A. Happ would not have to miss a start despite being diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease, but the left-hander will miss at least one turn in the rotation.
According to George King of the New York Post, Happ is headed to the disabled list.

Happ was scheduled to start against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday in what could be a huge series for the Yankees. New York is currently 5.5 games behind Boston in the AL East, and Happ has not recorded a loss in his last nine starts against the Red Sox.
Happ was acquired by the Yankees recently in a trade with the AL East rival Toronto Blue Jays, and ge got a win on Sunday in his first start with the team. The plan is likely for him to just miss Saturday’s start before returning.
