Jameson Taillon clarifies remarks about urinating on hand to help cut
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon is desperate to heal his pitching hand — so desperate, in fact, that he’s willing to do some rather gross things.
Taillon has a cut on the middle finger of his pitching hand, and on Sunday, he said he was willing to take drastic measures to try to heal it.
“I said if it helps, I’ll put a sign-up sheet and everyone can come and pee,” Taillon said, via Jerry DiPaola of the Tribune-Review. “I don’t care. I just want it to go away.”
After the comments received widespread attention on Monday, Taillon took to Twitter to clarify his stance — sort of.
Gotta clarify this whole pee on hand thing. People offer up their remedy opinions.. I jokingly said if peeing on it gets me on the field where I belong, I’ll put up a signup sheet. Not my thing, promise!

But for real.. does it work? Asking for a friend.

Jameson, if you’re serious, we have a candidate for you.
