Jim Crane says Astros ‘deserve’ criticism in letter to season ticket holders
The Houston Astros are still trying to apologize for their massive cheating scandal, this time to the fans.
Astros owner Jim Crane sent a letter to Houston season ticket holders on Friday, telling them directly he was “very sorry” for what the organization had done and vowing “make Houston proud again” and repair the organization’s reputation. Notably, he also admitted that the Astros deserve the criticism they’ve received from the wider world of baseball.

Crane was the first to really hint at the fact that the Astros’ apology tour was not going to be a good one, as his excuses were roasted after his first spring press conference. Things have only grown more chaotic since, but now that everyone has had their say and spring training games are starting, it may calm down a bit.
