Jim Harbaugh coaches first base for the Tigers during spring training game
Jim Harbaugh’s strange odyssey of an offseason continued Wednesday as he got to coach first base for the Detroit Tigers during a spring training game.
Harbaugh joined the Tigers for a split squad game in Bradenton, Florida against the Pirates, and he spent the first three innings in the first base coaching box in full uniform.

Harbaugh's main concern is not letting anybody get picked off first base, he said. He would like to send someone to second and be right.

Harbaugh spent three innings in that position, and things went pretty well. The Tigers ended up winning 10-3.
Harbaugh is in the Sunshine State for his rather controversial Michigan spring practice. Good that he could mix in a bit of leisure amidst the work.
