Joc Pederson managed to get ejected during his inning off.
The Texas Rangers designated hitter Pederson was tossed from Monday’s game against the Chicago White Sox. During the second inning at Rate Field in Chicago, Ill., Pederson started jawing at home plate umpire Chris Guccione from the dugout in the middle of an at-bat by Rangers teammate Evan Carter.
Guccione promptly called time before an 0-2 pitch was thrown to Carter and proceeded to eject Pederson from the top step of the dugout. Pederson then promptly walked off to the clubhouse.

The 34-year-old Pederson was apparently upset after not being allowed an ABS challenge by Guccione after a strike-3 pitch in his previous at-bat. Guccione ruled that Pederson had not initiated the challenge quickly enough, and Pederson continued to make his displeasure known from the dugout several batters later.

A two-time MLB All-Star, Pederson entered play on Monday batting .235 this season with 22 home runs and 46 RBIs for the Rangers. But against the White Sox, Pederson managed to pull a Chris Sale and get ejected while not even on the field of play.
