Josh Donaldson coy about status of Cleveland debut
Josh Donaldson is officially a Cleveland Indian, but he’s not giving away when he expects to make his debut.
Donaldson met with the Cleveland media on Sunday for the first time, saying that he and the team were working on a timetable for him to make his debut. As for how he’s feeling physically, Donaldson sounds eager to get going.
Josh Donaldson met with media for the first time since being traded to Cleveland. When asked if he feels 100 percent, he quipped: "I feel very good about where I’m at right now. I’d rather not talk about it. I’d rather just you be able to see it and you could judge it yourself."

There remains a lot to sort out regarding Donaldson’s status with Cleveland. He may need more rehab, and the Indians are still trying to work out where he’ll play, but they’ll find a way to get him in the lineup, likely as soon as they can manage it.
