Donaldson has been out with a shoulder injury since April 11. He was dealing with a dead arm and having trouble making his throws. Although he was batting just .239 in 12 games, he had three homers and a double, so his power is definitely missed in the Blue Jays’ lineup.
The Jays entered play on Tuesday 13-8 and fourth in MLB in runs scored.
