Kate Upton freaks everyone out with fake proposal Instagram pic
Kate Upton freaked out many of her fans on Thursday night when she posted a photo on Instagram that made it seem like boyfriend Justin Verlander had proposed to her, but it turns out she was just joking.
Upton posted a photo of a dinner plate with the words “Marry Me?” written in ketchup. The three options were “yes,” “duh,” and “of course,” which seemed to be a part of the joke.
Unfortunately for Upton, many people took the news seriously and ran with it, so she took down the Instagram photo and followed up with a tweet saying people ruined the joke:
Everyone ruined my joke… That's what #justkidding means… That's its a joke.. Get it??

This might have just been a joke, but it seems to be preparing everyone for a future announcement. Upton and Verlander began dating in 2012, had a breakup in 2013 and then got back together. Plus they had that whole nude photo scandal. Once you endure that as a couple, there is no turning back. Marriage seems inevitable. And if you’re Verlander, why wouldn’t you want to seal the deal with the supermodel?
