Watch: Kenley Jansen makes behind-the-back double play to end game
Kenley Jansen had yet another shaky outing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but he helped himself escape a jam with a spectacular play.
Jansen entered Tuesday’s 8-4 win over the Texas Rangers with an 8-2 lead in the ninth. He allowed a single and walk before striking out Joey Gallo, and then two more singles brought in two to make it 8-4. The Rangers looked like they were going to keep the rally going with runners on first and second and only one out when Shin-Soo Choo hit a broken bat ball up the middle.
Jansen snagged it behind the back and went to second to get the force out and start a double play:

The shaky appearance won’t exactly inspire confidence from Dave Roberts in Jansen, but that was one awesome play. They may need to give him some more time off to get it together.
