Kirk Cousins is quickly approaching his 30th birthday, and the star quarterback says there was one particular moment at training camp that reminded him he is really getting old.
On Wednesday, Cousins revealed on Twitter that one of his teammates — whom he did not name — claims to have never heard of MLB legend Cal Ripken Jr.
I guess I’m getting old…today a teammmate said he didn’t know who Cal Ripken Jr. is….what???

In reality, that has nothing to do with Cousins getting old. Even if one of his rookie teammates has never heard of Ripken, that person simply knows nothing about the history of the game of baseball.
Cousins has given us a few laughs on Twitter this offseason, but Baltimore Orioles fans probably find nothing funny about a grown man who has never heard of their most beloved Hall of Famer.
