Lloyd McClendon was ejected from the third inning of Tuesday’s Mariners-Yankees game, and the Seattle manager sure got his money’s worth while being run from the contest.
Upset that the umpires ruled Alex Rodriguez checked his swing and did not go on a 3-2 pitch with two outs in the top of the third, catcher Mike Zunino began hollering at first base umpire Will Little. Zunino got tossed from the game, and McClendon soon charged out of the dugout to join in on the fun. He gave Little a piece of his mind and then really expressed his anger with a hat toss.
But McClendon wasn’t done!

The Mariners manager proceeded to make his way around the diamond and get in the face of each of the remaining umpires to complain about calls they had made. It was one of our favorite managerial meltdowns since the great Joe Mikulik. Take a look at some of the other best manager ejections here.
