Lorenzo Cain critical of himself for poor play during playoffs
Even though the Milwaukee Brewers are up 2-0 in their NLDS series against the Colorado Rockies, they’ve done it without any real contribution from outfielder Lorenzo Cain.
Cain is yet to get a hit in the series, starting 0-for-8 with a walk. He’s certainly noticed his struggles, and is determined to turn it around — but not before being extremely critical of his own performance.
Lorenzo Cain has gone hitless in consecutive games for just the second time in 33 career postseason appearances and the first time since 2014 with KC.
"I've been playing like (bleep)," said Cain, who's 0 for 8 with a walk and run scored. "I’ve definitely got to get it going."

Other players are providing the heroics right now, and it’s a great sign that the Brewers are winning even without Cain being at his best. However, that can’t last forever, and it’s vital that he get it going sooner rather than later.
