Luis Severino set for another MRI after experiencing more discomfort

Luis Severino

New York Yankees pitcher Luis Severino does not appear to be any closer to making his season debut.

According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, Severino, who has been coping with shoulder inflammation, struggled in his last long toss and will fly back to New York for another MRI.

Even if the MRI delivers relatively good news, it’s getting harder and harder to see him back before the end of the month, and that’s the best-case scenario.
