Watch: Marcus Stroman argues with manager after being pulled
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman was not a big fan of his manager’s decisionmaking on Saturday.
Stroman visibly argued with manager Charlie Montoyo as he came out to pull his starter, and remained upset all the way into the dugout.
Drama here at Rogers Centre. Marcus Stroman was removed from the game and wasn't happy about it whatsoever. He let Charlie Montoyo have it on his way to the mound and then had some choice words for Pete Walker in the dugout. #BlueJays

TV cameras caught Stroman clearly upset with Montoyo as he approached the mound.

At the time, Stroman had already given up a run in the inning, and the Chicago White Sox had two on with one out and a 3-0 lead. They would add one more in the inning on a fielding error.
Stroman has never been one to hide his emotions, even in moments like this where it’s probably not the best look. Expect both sides to downplay it, and you could even praise Stroman for his competitive fire and desire to power through the mess he’d made himself.
