Watch: Marwin Gonzalez launches go-ahead home run over Green Monster
Houston Astros left fielder Marwin Gonzalez made quite the statement to put the Houston Astros ahead in Game 2 of the ALCS.
With the Astros and Boston Red Sox tied 2-2 in the top of the 3rd, Gonzalez teed off on a David Price offering and hit it over the Green Monster seats, with only a billboard preventing it from flying out of Fenway Park entirely.

Gonzalez’s homer ensured that the Astros broke an MLB record, as this was their 14th consecutive playoff game in which they hit at least one home run. It also exacerbated the playoff struggles of David Price, who gave up two runs in both the second and third innings after being staked to a 2-0 lead. Apparently his issues aren’t fixed after all.
