Watch: Max Muncy smacks 3-run home run in Game 1
Max Muncy is regaining his power stroke at the right time.
Muncy smacked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second inning of Game 1 of the NLDS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves on Thursday. Muncy’s homer was a deep blast to right-center and came with two outs in the inning.

Muncy’s dinger gave the Dodgers one in each inning off Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz as Joc Pederson homered in the first.
Muncy now has extra-base hits in four straight games for the Dodgers. He went 2-for-6 with a double and triple in game 161 against the Giants, and he homered in games 162 and 163. Now he also has homered in the first game of the NLDS.
As he showed when he smacked 17 home runs in June and July, Muncy can do a lot of damage when he gets hot.
