Cool Max Scherzer graphic on outfield wall shows his eyes
The Washington Nationals dialed it up ahead of Game 5 of the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers. They unveiled a new graphic on the outfield wall for pitcher Max Scherzer.
The graphic shows the Cy Young Award winner’s eyes. In the middle where the pupils would be is the letter K, which represents a strikeout in the scorebook.
The eyes of course are different colors, just like Scherzer’s. His right is blue and his left is brown — it’s part of a condition called heterochromia iridum that he has.
Well this is new. And it's awesome. Graphic of Max with the two colored eyes, both with "Ks" in them. pic.twitter.com/LGPj3h2tLL

I don't know if this is meant to scare pigeons or humans, but I can say safely it works well on one of those demographics: pic.twitter.com/jT0p5pqYKE
