The New York Mets continue to be the hottest team in baseball.
The Mets rallied for four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning on Friday night to come back from down 6-3 to beat the Washington Nationals 7-6. Todd Frazier got them back in the game with a tying 3-run home run. Five batters later, Michael Conforto delivered a walk-off hit over right fielder Adam Eaton’s head to win the game.
Conforto’s teammates were so fired up about the win that they ripped off the hero’s shirt during their celebration on the field:
Michael Conforto's first-career walk-off hit lifts the Mets to a stunning 7-6 victory over the Nats. Todd Frazier's three-run shot tied it earlier in the inning.

“We do it for you guys, we do it for the fans, we do it for each other,” Conforto said after the game.
Conforto went 2-for-5 with an RBI and helped hand Sean Doolittle his fifth blown save of the season. The hot Mets have now won 14 out of 15 and are 60-56 on the season, right in the middle of the wild-card race.
