
Friday night’s New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game turned into the Mookie Betts show.
Betts homered in his first three at-bats off James Paxton. He took the southpaw deep in the first, third and fourth innings. The first two were solo shots and the third was a 2-run blast.

Betts is up to 18 home runs and 53 RBIs. Teammate JD Martinez also belted a 2-run home run in the first, giving him 21 on the season.
