Nationals, Anibal Sanchez agree to 2-year, $19 million deal
The Washington Nationals continue to shape their pitching rotation.
The Nats and Anibal Sanchez have agreed to a 2-year, $19 million deal, as reported by the Detroit Free Press’ Anthony Fenech.
Sanchez’s deal is for two years and $19 million plus incentives, I’m told.

Sanchez, who turns 35 in February, is coming off a strong season with the Braves. He went 7-6 with a 2.83 ERA in 136.2 innings last season. That represented a major turnaround after he had three terrible seasons in a row with the Tigers.
The Nationals have now added Patrick Corbin and Sanchez this offseason, while trading away Tanner Roark.
