Nats OF stunned after being ejected by umpire Emil Jimenez
Washington Nationals outfielder Lane Thomas was left stunned after being ejected by umpire Emil Jimenez on Thursday.
Thomas was called out on strikes while facing Detroit Tigers starter Casey Mize in the top of the sixth inning of his Nationals’ 7-2 loss at Comerica Park in Detroit.
Thomas was upset after letting the 2-2 pitch go by and get called strike three. He seemed to react negatively to the called strike and glanced back at Jimenez, who tossed the outfielder.

Thomas couldn’t believe it and noted that he didn’t even say anything. Thomas also denied that his negative reaction was aimed at Jimenez.
The Nats replaced Thomas in the lineup but gave up five runs in the seventh to fall behind and lose the game.
What do you think – was Thomas showing up Jimenez through his body language and reaction?
