Oakland Coliseum plumbing leaks into visiting dugout (Video)

The Oakland Athletics have a unique home field advantage at the Oakland Coliseum. Occasionally, the plumbing backs up.

It happened again Saturday, when the visiting dugout – currently occupied by the New York Yankees – was filled with rather rancid water from a leak in the dugout bathroom that developed Friday night.

The game went ahead as scheduled, so apparently the stadium crew was able to clean things up sufficiently enough that the Yankees could occupy the dugout.

The Coliseum has a long history of being rather dilapidated, as evidenced by these emergency “repairs.” Between that and the cost of rent, no wonder the Raiders want out. So do the A’s, but a new stadium for them isn’t on the horizon anytime soon.
