The San Diego Padres’ signing of Manny Machado wasn’t their only big addition for the 2019 baseball season.

The Padres on Friday night introduced perhaps their best move of the year. They have added one of those costume races during home games, and the best part is this one is “Anchorman”-themed.

Participants run around in costumes fashioned after the members of the Channel 4 news team from the movie: Ron Burgundy, Champ kind, Brian Fantana, and Brick Tamland.

The legendary Will Ferrell movie first came out in 2004 and led to a 2013 sequel. Set in San Diego, the film features an ensemble cast and is downright hilarious. The Padres say they worked with Paramount Pictures and actors Ferrell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell on the characters.

You stay classy, and full of excellent ideas, San Diego.
