Not everyone gets to enjoy sunny southern California springs, and the San Diego Padres are very much aware of that.
Inclement weather in the Midwest area led to ten total games being postponed around the MLB this weekend. In response to the wave of cancellations, the Padres sent this funny tweet Sunday emphasizing that they were not affected.

Indeed, the Padres’ 1:10 PM PST game against the San Francisco Giants at Petco Park went ahead as planned and resulted in a 5-1 victory for the home team. It is understandable for them to revel in their current weather-related fortune as well since the elements have not always been kind to them.
