Pete Rose and Donald Trump are exchanging endorsements, confirming pretty much every you already knew about this year’s presidential election.
While campaigning in Ohio Sunday ahead of Tuesday’s primary in the state, Trump seemingly played to the crowd and said the former Cincinnati Reds start belongs in the Hall of Fame.

Looks like the two are mutual supporters because Trump later tweeted Sunday that he got a signed baseball from Rose that included an inscription referencing Trump’s campaign slogan of “Make America Great Again.”

Truthfully, Trump and Rose seem like perfect bedfellows. Rose is now the second former Ohio baseball star to endorse the president, joining this former Red as well.
