Look: PNC Park tunnel floods due to storm
PNC Park has found itself in some murky waters … literally.
The park was scheduled to host a game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday, but a heavy downpour of rain in the area threw a wrench into those plans. After the contest was delayed for more than two hours by the weather, officials ultimately decided to postpone it instead.
In retrospect, it’s a good thing that they did because the rain got so bad that a tunnel behind the visitor’s dugout was completely flooded by a brownish pool of water that was nearly knee-high. Matt Freed of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette shared video of the wild scene.

A makeup date for the game has yet to be announced. However, with PNC Park set to play host to another contest against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday, hopefully they can get the flood waters cleaned up quickly (and before it starts to affect the fans, like we saw before at another ballpark).
