Getting randomly drug tested is becoming such a regular event for Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier lately that he’s starting to see the humor in it.
Kiermaier tweeted on Thursday that he had been selected for his fifth random test of the offseason and cracked this funny joke about it:
5th random drug test of the offseason tmrw … i think im just gonna offer the people my guest bedroom since they just love comin to my residence this much

The slew of random tests comes after a 2017 campaign where Kiermaier hit .276 with 15 home runs (both career-highs), 39 RBIs, and his usual excellent defense in center field. Somewhat remarkably, he is not the only Tampa Bay player to poke fun at being drug tested this winter.
