
The Cincinnati Reds will acquire pitcher Sonny Gray, according to reports.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan and The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal, the Reds agreed to a new contract with Gray and will subsequently complete a trade with the New York Yankees.

Gray posted a 4.90 ERA with the Yankees last season, the worst of his career. The 29-year-old still boasts a 3.66 ERA over his career and is young enough to get back on track.
Previous reports indicated that the Yankees were getting a pretty good haul for Gray despite his down season in 2018.
