Robinson Cano out less than a week due to hamstring issue

Robinson Cano Jay-Z

The Seattle Mariners got good news on Robinson Cano’s hamstring injury Monday.

Cano will reportedly miss no more than two to three days with a minor hamstring issue, which should not endanger his status for the start of the regular season.

Given Cano was bothered by a quad injury last year, this is good news. Barring any unexpected setbacks, he should be back for Opening Day. That’s a relief, as the Mariners will need Cano to be healthy if they want to make a run at the playoffs this season.

Cano’s injury isn’t the only scare that has hit the Mariners this spring.
