SI reporter Stephanie Apstein met with Houston Astros president and general manager Jeff Luhnow before Game 3 of the World Series on Friday.
According to multiple reporters, the meeting between Apstein and Luhnow lasted about 15 minutes and included Apstein asking Houston to issue a retraction.

Apstein published a story on Monday evening in which she accused Astros assistant GM Brandon Taubman of taunting her and other female reporters over the Roberto Osuna acquisition. The Astros issued a statement in which they refuted the story, calling it “misleading and completely irresponsible.” Houston later issued new statements the following day, and they fired Taubman on Thursday after further investigating showed Apstein’s version of the story was confirmed by others.
Taubman and the Astros could still face further discipline from MLB.
