Feuding Tigers TV broadcasters will not return in 2018
Detroit Tigers TV broadcasters Mario Impemba and Rod Allen will not broadcast again in 2018.
According to Fox Sports Detroit, neither Impemba nor Allen will be scheduled for any further telecasts this season. No word was given on their statuses beyond 2018.
After speaking with all involved parties, FOX Sports Detroit has decided not to schedule Rod Allen and Mario Impemba for any future Tigers telecasts this season. Since this is an internal matter, we will have no further comment.

It had already been reported earlier Friday that Matt Shepard, who filled in for Impemba on Wednesday, would broadcast Friday night’s game as well. That arrangement may be likely to continue for the remainder of the season.
Matt Shepard will call tonight's Tigers game as the play-by-play broadcaster for Fox Sports Detroit, I'm told.

It was reported Thursday that Impemba and Allen had gotten into a physical altercation after Tueday night’s broadcast. Further reports indicated that Allen had choked Impemba from behind, but Allen’s agent has firmly denied that. Whatever the case, Fox Sports Detroit has seen enough to decide that it’s best if neither broadcaster goes on the air again this season.
