
New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles had a tumor removed from his neck shortly after the season ended. Fortunately, it was benign.
While not cancerous, it was still quite large. Bob Glauber of Newsday reports that the tumor was approximately the size of a golf ball.

Because tumor removed from Todd Bowles' neck was benign, he does not require further treatment. "I'm fine." He detected it early in season.

That had to have been uncomfortable for Bowles. But, again, the important thing is that the growth was benign. He must feel quite fortunate.
