Todd Frazier makes great catch diving into stands (Video)
Todd Frazier bailed Johnny Cueto out of a shaky second inning with an incredible diving catch on Tuesday night in the one-game playoff between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds.
Cueto allowed home runs to Marlon Byrd and Russell Martin, and he gave up back-to-back hits to Starling Marte and Francisco Liriano. The Pirates had runners on first and second with two outs and Neil Walker up, but Walker fouled a ball down the third base line. Frazier ran to the edge of the diamond and dove over the railing and into the photographer’s pit to make the inning-ending catch.
The Reds could have fallen behind by much more than 2-0, but thanks to Frazier’s great catch, the score remained 2-0.
