Hanson was once a very promising pitcher with the Braves after going 45-32 from 2009-2012. He went 11-4 with a 2.89 ERA in 2009 to finish third in Rookie of the Year voting. The Braves traded Hanson to the Angels for Jordan Walden prior to the 2013 season. He hasn’t pitched in the bigs since going 4-3 with a 5.42 ERA for the Angels in 2013.
