Bauer is ready to push that timetable.
Asked about his timetable for return, Trevor Bauer said his answer will be much different than the one given by the medical staff. He plans on doing everything possible to return this season.

The Indians had been optimistic that Bauer would return this season. It’s unclear how optimistic they are now, but given how important he’s been to their cause this season, they’ll do everything they can to get him ready in the playoffs.
