Max Kepler apparently did not get the memo on Saturday.
The Minnesota Twins outfielder Kepler showed up to the second game of his team’s weekend series against the Texas Rangers looking … a little different from the rest of his teammates. While all the other Twins in the field were wearing the hat featuring the team’s “T” logo, for some reason, Kepler was wearing the hat featuring Minnesota’s “M” logo instead.
Take a look below.

The Twins later posted a picture of Kepler posing with his teammates, all of whom were wearing the correct hat.

At least the shades on his hat were able to cover up Kepler’s mistake for the most part. Coincidentally, Saturday was also Kepler’s 1,000th career game as a Twin, so perhaps he earned the right to look a little different for a day.
Kepler would end up going 1-for-4 with a run scored on the afternoon as the Twins topped the Rangers 5-3. Maybe that will spark a new superstition for him (which would sure beat the one the Twins were using earlier this year).
