Vladimir Guerrero Jr promoted to Blue Jays’ Triple-A team
We are now a step closer to seeing Vladimir Guerrero Jr in the major leagues.
News came out on Saturday morning that the Toronto Blue Jays are promoting Vlad Jr. to Triple-A Buffalo. What’s cool about the move is the timing, as Vlad will join his new team following his father’s Hall of Fame induction on Sunday in Cooperstown.
It's official. After joining his father in Cooperstown for Vlad Sr.'s induction, Vlad Guerrero Jr. is headed west on I-90 to Buffalo to join the #Bisons #BLUEJAYS He finished with the #FisherCats at .402 14HR 60RBI 1.120 OPS in 61 games.

Vlad Jr. is one of the best prospects of all-time based on his incredible numbers. He hit well as a 17-year-old in rookie ball in 2016. He batted .323 with a .910 OPS over two levels of Single-A ball as an 18-year-old in 2017. This year he saw time at three different levels and went bananas at Double-A. Prior to his promotion, Vlad Jr. was hitting .402 with a 1.122 OPS.
If he keeps it up, Vlad Jr. will likely make it to the majors later this season at age 19. He is a monster and on a similar path to his father.
