Steve Pearce got the scoring started for the Boston Red Sox in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday with a 2-run home run.

Pearce came up to bat after Andrew Benintendi singled off Los Angeles Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw. He took a 1-1 fastball out to left-center to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead.

Pearce continues his hot hitting for Boston. He went 2-for-4 with a double, home run and 4 RBIs in the comeback win in Game 4 and now has three homers this postseason.

Boston entered the game with a 3-1 series lead and needed just one more win to clinch their ninth World Series title and fourth since 2004.
