The agents for Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras are doing what they can to make their client look good.
Adult film star Mia Khalifa put Contreras on blast Tuesday for doing the old “sliding into her DMs” move.

The messages began a month ago, and despite being shut down by Khalifa, the person sending the messages didn’t take the hint. Three more messages were sent over the next two weeks.
After stories about Khalifa blasting Contreras began going viral Tuesday, Contreras’ agents did the only thing they could: they told Deadspin their client had been hacked.
The regularity of the messages — and the fact that they targeted Khalifa so specifically — make us doubt this, but who knows. He’s certainly not the first athlete to get caught up in Khalifa’s DMs.
