X-rays negative for Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly after being hit
Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly exited Friday night’s 10-6 win over the Colorado Rockies after being hit in the wrist by a comebacker.
Kelly entered the game in the ninth for mop-up duty with the Dodgers up 10-4. The first batter he faced was Charlie Blackmon, who laced a ball right back at him that hit him in the wrist.

Kelly left the game after that and gave way to Yimi Garcia, who allowed two home runs before closing things out. Kelly underwent X-rays on his wrist that were negative. He’s not expected to miss much time.

The team’s high-priced offseason acquisition has struggled so far this season and has been charged with blown saves in each of the team’s only two losses.
