Report: Yankees could sign both Zach Britton, Adam Ottavino
The New York Yankees, facing lingering questions about their rotation, may opt to load up their bullpen again.
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Yankees are in discussions with free agent relievers Zach Britton and Adam Ottavino, and have not ruled out the possibility of signing both pitchers.
#Yankees remain in talks with both Britton and Ottavino, sources tell The Athletic. Not out of question they will sign both. Rotation still has questions. Bullpen currently without Britton and Robertson from final 2018 version. Betances free agent after ‘19.

The Yankees have already lost David Robertson, who signed with the Philadelphia Phillies earlier in the week. Britton played for them last year, and New York has been linked to him often since the beginning of the offseason.
While the Yankees have done plenty to improve their rotation this offseason, there are still questions about its depth. They’ve gone with a deep bullpen in the past in light of rotation issues, and they may do so again this year.
