Whatever Yasiel Puig lacks in a vertical jump, he makes up for with arm strength.
The Dodgers outfielder busted out one of the best throws we’ve ever seen from the outfield when he picked up a ball that bounced off the wall in right center and threw a frozen rope from right field to deny Trevor Story a triple at third base on Friday night:

That was Bo Jackson-esque. We probably shouldn’t hold it against him that he missed his cutoff man, right?
According to StatCast, the ball traveled 310 feet at 93.5 mph. Wow.
Dave Roberts on Puig's throw: "As far as degree of difficulty, that might be one of the best plays I’ve ever seen."

Can’t get enough of Yasiel Puig’s awesome throws? Take a look at these ones:
– Hoses Marlon Byrd in 2013
– Puig throws out Chris Denorfia at first from warning track in 2013
– Throws out Giants runner at second
– Puig throws out runner in Australia
