Yu Darvish heads to disabled list with tricep tendinitis
Yu Darvish continues to have a rough season for the Chicago Cubs.
The pitcher is headed to the 10-day disabled list with right tricep tendinitis just a day before his scheduled start against the San Francisco Giants.

Darvish hasn’t had a great start to his Cubs career, and the team was concerned about him even before this latest development. After landing a $126 million deal in the offseason, the 31-year-old has a 4.95 ERA and 21 walks in 40 innings so far with Chicago. That walk rate is a career worst since moving to the United States, and the fact that an arm issue is cropping up now won’t make the Cubs feel any better about things.
