Yu Darvish’s return to the Chicago Cubs’ rotation may not come as soon as the team was planning.
Darvish made a rehab start on Monday, allowing just one run over five innings for Low-A South Bend. But Darvish said afterwards that his triceps still isn’t 100 percent.
Yu Darvish said he still does not feel 100 percent in triceps area . He will duscuss his next course of action after flying to LA tomorrow .

According to reporter Bruce Levine, Darvish was regularly touching 94 mph on his fastball, which is a good sign.
If Darvish is not completely healthy, that might put a delay on his return. Cubs manager Joe Maddon had said he was planning to put Darvish into the rotation over the weekend depending on how he felt, so this feedback does not bode well.
Darvish is 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA in eight starts this season.
