Anthony Davis injured his right knee on Friday night and had to be carried off the court.
Davis bumped knees with Chris Paul, which sent the Pelicans forward to the floor in immense pain. It looked like a significant injury.
Davis couldn’t even walk on it, and had to be carried to the locker room.
Despite the apparent severity of the injury, the Pelicans reported that there was no apparent structural damage to Davis’s knee. The injury was classified as a right knee contusion, and the hope is that it won’t keep Davis out for too long, despite the scare.
