Anthony Edwards blasts referees after game vs. Thunder
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards once again called out the officiating after another close game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Edwards led his team in scoring in the Timberwolves’ 107-101 win Monday over the Thunder at Paycom Center in OKC, Okla.
During his postgame interview, Edwards was asked how his team pulled off the gritty win on the road. It didn’t take long before the All-Star guard put the referees of Monday’s game on blast.
“I don’t know. I don’t know. And I’m going to take this fine, cause the refs did not give us no calls tonight. We had to play through every bump, every grab. I don’t know how we won tonight,” Edwards said.
“Imma take this fine, but the refs did not give us no calls tonight.”

Minnesota outscored OKC 34-24 in the fourth quarter to take sole possession of the No. 1 seed in the West.
Edwards also claimed that referees were favoring the Thunder, particularly his star counterpart Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, when the two teams faced off on January 20. The Thunder won that contest 102-97 after some crucial missed free throws from Edwards in the final minute.
"It's hard to with the calls that Shai gets. It's hard to shut him down. You can't touch him at any time of the game. It's super hard to beat. That team is a good team, especially when they get calls like that."
