Colorado State is looking for a new coach after getting rid of Larry Eustachy after they grew alarmed with the way he was running the program.
Hammon had the opportunity to become the first female head coach of a Men’s Division I basketball program. She was an All-American player for Colorado State during her career from 1995-1999. Last year she turned down interest from Florida in their women’s coaching job.
