Jimmy Butler seems to be bedding in nicely in Philadelphia.
According to 76ers head coach Brett Brown, Butler has taken teammate Ben Simmons under his wing defensively at the coach’s request. However, the pairing seems to be hitting it off — according to Brown, the duo even wore matching headbands on Friday night.
Brett Brown says Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler wearing headbands tonight was a "bonding of defensive brothers". Says he's asked Butler to take Simmons under his wing and help get the most out of him defensively.

Butler has made his share of on-court contributions early on for his new team, but if he’s helping mentor some of the team’s younger talent, that’s a huge bonus and probably exactly what the Sixers had in mind when acquiring him. It turns out that chatter was right — he’s a great teammate as long as he’s happy with his situation.
